Djuna Vine is floral design led by Paloma Mele, based in the Woodstock, NY area, focusing on the striking, edgy, and organic possibilities of flowers and greens.  Through the design process, we work with you to develop a vibe, texture, and color palette specific to your overall vision and personality.

It begins by sharing images and concepts that speak to you, then we craft a proposal and estimate, including a line-item breakdown, a mood board, and color swatches.  From there, we hone in on a specific vision to be executed to perfection on your wedding day.

Being proudly aligned with numerous flower farmers in the Hudson Valley, we source from them spring through fall.  This region has its own other-worldly beauty, so we also forage from forests and fields for every event.

My life has been a kaleidoscope of painting, photography, jewelry design, a life as a sound and picture editor in NYC, and oddly enough, a deep passion for post-apocalyptic science fiction.I’ve never been “just a girl,” and my own wedding aesthetic was a combination of bold brights and black to reflect that. Rarely seeing anything in between the typical romantic feminine and cartoonishly goth-y florals, I aim to create truly contemporary, thoughtful, and complex floral design.  With a dash of darkness.
